To all residents,
Friendly reminder as the 4th of July is just around the corner. All fireworks are banned from Association owned property. This includes, but not limited to; all trails, lakes, pools, pool parking lots, tennis courts, playgrounds, blacktop behind Oasis and green space. We also want to remind everyone we have a fine schedule, and it’s a $500 fine per occurrence on Association property.
The Association has received a few comments regarding past use, but we want to remind everyone, our insurance does not cover fireworks on Association property. Additionally, any injuries to any persons are a liability to the Association. We cannot afford to have anyone injured on Association owned property.
We will have volunteers patrolling the neighborhood and reporting back to ensure compliance. The Sheriff or Parkville Police will be called based on jurisdiction.
Residents are welcome to use fireworks on their property based on City and County laws.
