We wanted to provide an update on the streetlights in our community. The recent drastic temperature changes have negatively impacted the buried wires, particularly in areas where the wires have been spliced multiple times. To address this issue, the Association has been diligently working to install new wire runs in conduit instead of patching the damaged areas. Although this approach is more expensive initially, we believe it will be more cost-effective in the long run.
So far, we have completed the necessary repairs on Nevada from Brink Meyer to 62nd, as well as all of Forest and 64th Place. Currently, we are working on solutions to get 61st and 66th up and running. Even with our most affordable bid, the cost is approximately $75K per 2,000 feet.
